Hydrosol or Floral Floral Water is obtained by the steam distillation of fresh flowers, a technique used to extract essential oils. Floor floral water has soothing and anti-inflammatory virtues in applied compresses or spray on sensitive skin, in case of irritation, redness. Also can be used to relieve psoriasis. Its name "lemon balm" comes from the Greek word "melissa", meaning "bee" because bees use its nectar to produce honey. Traditionally used in herbalism to prepare soothing and sedative or digestive herbal teas, the lemon balm is also used in the kitchen for its very fine, fresh and lemony aroma. It is a treat to accompany your dishes made from fish or vegetables and pleasantly flavor your desserts or hot or cold drinks. Thanks to the richness of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds of the plant, this hydrosol made up of a low essential oil. Its calming and relaxing effect is known to help fight stress and sleep disorders.
