Banana powder is rich in potassium and vitamin A. In formulations, it has proven to be ideal for dry skin, and does not contain any known substance for worsening or irritating the skin. Some users have used banana powder by itself as a rich and hydrating facial mask.

Botanical name: Musa SPP

Appearance: white color powder with pale yellow. The color can vary from one lot to another.

Recommended use: The maximum quantity of powdered fruit extract should not exceed 0.5 % of the total product, while in the form of a dye, the maximum quantity of fruit extract should not exceed 5 %.

Note: Fruit extracts have all nutrients and beneficial properties of the fruit, but may or may not have the aroma of the real fruit. Fruit extracts are intended to add nourishing properties to the formulation and not to flavor the products.
