Gum Arabic is a tree in the Fabaceae family. She softens and regenerates the skin. Also, this eraser gives clothing to make -up like the foundation, the mascara or the eyeliner. This substance is edible and is very widespread in the food industry, where it is used as a natural gum.
It is under the European Code E414 that gum is hidden as an emulsifier and thickening. It is found as an additive in many products such as sodas, syrups, candies ... It is made up of a chain of polysaccharides and is particularly rich in fiber.

Properties: thickening, emulsifying (oil in water), protective, softening.* Arabic gum is also a natural prebiotic, that is to say that it promotes the development of beneficial bacteria in the intestine.
Usage: Add to the aqueous phase.
Concentration: 1 to 10 %.
Applications: emulsions, serums, balms and ointments, makeup (mascaras, gel eyeliners), liquid soaps, aqueous extracts.
